STUDENTS: We are almost half way through this semester, so make sure you are on track to earning 5 credits per class. This semester will end March 15.   If you are behind, organize your time and be here every day on time.

Students, are you interested in joining the workforce after high school, or want to see what employers are looking for?
Thursday, February 22 you will have this opportunity!
See Mr. Marquez for a permission slip form for the Kern County Career Expo!   Transportation will be provided!

CAP AND GOWN
If you are graduating this year, don’t forget to turn in your cap and gown form.  By turning it to Mrs. Gabion you save yourself a trip to Bakersfield and a long waiting line.  Don’t wait until the last minute.

Students & staff,
have someone you want to say “Happy Valentine’s Day” to?
Or maybe you’d like to tell a staff member that you appreciate their hard work?

If so, Valentine grams are available in room 6. If you want to send a note to a friend, student or staff member, come over during lunch. Cards are handmade by the Art class students.

Lunch today: chicken drumstick w/mac & cheese, ham & cheese sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, bean & cheese burrito, peanut butter & jelly sandwich, veggie burger.

Quote of the day: “The important thing is to take that first step. Bravely overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.”  --Daisu Ikeda

Positive affirmation of the day: “I am confident about solving life’s problems successfully”
