GREAT NEWS! The Quest for Success deadline has been extended. If you are a junior or a senior and are interested in participating in the Quest 4 Success program, please see Ms. Ramirez for an application. Eligibility requirements include having at least 100 credits, 80% school attendance, 2.00 GPA 2nd semester, and no serious discipline – especially any resulting in school suspension – since Aug. 2018. All applications and documents are due by January 30th.

You must be in good academic standing. You must turn in a signed grade check in order to pick up a permission slip.
Manny Scott, an original Freedom Writer, will be speaking to students on Thursday, January 24 at 4pm at BHS. When he was just 16, Manny’s father was in jail, he missed over 90 days of school, lived in 26 different places, and experienced the murder of his best friend. Still, Manny overcame all of these obstacles and achieved his dreams. If you are interested in hearing more about Manny’s story, see Mr. Marquez for a field trip form. We will be leaving at 3:30 on Thursday, January 24 and dinner will be provided to you.
