BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: On Dec. 11, Bakersfield College will be here to help seniors complete their application and orientation.  You will need your social security card (take a picture) in order to apply.  If you don’t have a social security card, see Mr. Marquez to get a BC student number.

 FAFSA @ NUEVA

Representatives from Cash4College will be here at Nueva on Tuesday, Dec. 11 to help you and your parents complete your application for free money for college.  You will need to bring:

  • Your social security card or DACA social security card.
  • One of your parent’s social security card, if they have one.
  • Your parents 2017 taxes.

Please note that if you have a sibling who has already done FAFSA in a past year, your parent already has a FAFSA account.  We will need that information in order to complete your application, since we cannot create another account for the same parent.

If you are graduating in December, please make sure to clear any outstanding balances you may have for books, fundraising items, etc. You should have already received a list if you have any outstanding debts.  If you are not sure, please see Mrs. Gabion during lunch.

Students, are you interested in attending a career or technical school after high school? Please see Mr. Marquez today during lunch for more information.

Lunch today: chicken drumstick w/macaroni & cheese, ham & cheese sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, bean & cheese burrito, peanut butter & jelly sandwich, veggie burger.
