STUDENTS: We are already half way through this semester, so there’s not very much time left for you to pick up your grade if you are in danger of failing. The more you wait, the harder it will be.  We expect our students to earn all 25 credits each semester, otherwise you are delaying your graduation or transfer back to Arvin.

Thank you to the students who attended the College Night event last night. You took a risk, had an open mindset, and established a trusting relationship with other students and staff in the community.  You represented Nueva well!

Juniors and Seniors: If you are interested in applying for Quest for Success please see Ms. Ramirez for an application and more information. Remember you must have at least a minimum of 95 credits and 80% attendance in order to qualify.

There will be a mandatory Quest Orientation meeting tomorrow at 3:00 PM in the cafeteria. If you have signed up for Quest, you are required to attend!  Please see Ms. Ramirez for more information.

Returning students, it is important that you turn in a signed Internet Permission form in order for you to continue to have internet access. Signed forms need to be turned in by Friday, September 14. Pick up a form in the office.

Students: Community Service opportunities are now available! Remember that every 12 hours of community service can earn you 1 elective credit.  For more information, please see Ms. Ramirez.  Sign up today!

Lunch today: baked potato w/chili, chicken strips w/fries, cheeseburger, bean & cheese burrito, peanut butter & jelly sandwich, veggie burger.
