A HUGE shout out to Cristobal Mendoza Reyes as Nueva’s Student of the Year! Cristobal has overcome many obstacles to become a true KNIGHT and exemplifies everything RULE means.He is always Respectful to staff and his peers. He has become Unstoppable when it comes to his education and community involvement. Cristobal has Empowered himself to be successful, more outgoing and a great networker in the community. He is a true Leader! Nueva High School students are also being recognized as the Volunteers of the year. We were among a group of 7 nominees and I am proud to announce that our students have made an impact in the community and will be recognized for all of their efforts to make Lamont a better place. We have 44 students who have been willing to serve our community at least once. Together they have dedicated 737 hours of their time to make a difference! Congratulations to all of you. You make us all proud.
Seniors who will complete their graduation credits by the end of this quarter: Please make sure you stay on track in all your classes, including APEX, if you still want to be done by March 18. You have less than two weeks left, so there’s no time to waste. Also, see Mr. Marquez for cap and gown order information.All orders will be picked up on April 25th. Any orders made after will need to be done in Bakersfield.
