National Crouton Day!

 

Did you know:  Many of our words for bread-related foods come from the French and for good reason. The French love bread. Croutons are no different. The French word croûte means crust.

On May 13, 1846, the U.S. Congress overwhelmingly votes in favor of President James K. Polk’s request to declare war on Mexico in a dispute over Texas.

 

 

National Mental Health Awareness Month

 

Self Care Tips:  Creative expression. Choose a creative outlet to convey your thoughts and feelings. This could be journaling, writing poetry, painting or drawing, doing photography, dancing, or playing music. The key here is channeling your emotional state through an art form

There will be a free Covid Vaccine Clinic held on site today from 1 to 5:30 PM.  All students 12 and older wishing to get their vaccine should pre register.  Invite your families to come and get vaccinated too!
