Did you know:  National Eat What You Want Day sets diets aside for a day of indulgence.  It’s about having one day a year of eating with no regrets.

On May 11, 1934, a massive storm sends millions of tons of topsoil flying from across the parched Great Plains region of the United States as far east as New York, Boston and Atlanta.

 

 

 

National Mental Health Awareness Month

 

Self Care Tips:  Get some sleep. Easier said than done, but sleep deprivation is detrimental to a person’s thinking, and their physical and emotional state. Most young people need eight to nine hours of restful sleep to function at their best. It’s not easy fitting this into a schedule filled with academic, social and recreational activities, but it sure has a big payoff. Try to have as regular a sleep schedule as possible, and you’ll generally find that your “biological clock” will remember when to fall asleep and wake up.

There will be a free Covid Vaccine Clinic held on site this Thursday between 1 and 5:30.  All students 12 and older wishing to get their vaccine should preregister.  Invite your families to come and get vaccinated too!
