National Gardening Day!

Did you know: National Gardening Day on April 14th encourages gardeners and would-be gardeners to pick up a shovel and some seeds and kick-off a beautiful year of homegrown bounty.

 

 

Today in History: Operation "Baby Lift” concludes after flying 2,600 South Vietnamese orphans to the U.S.

Operation Baby Lift was initiated to bring South Vietnamese orphans to the United States for adoption by American parents.

KEEP AMERICA BEAUTIFUL MONTH

We generate 21.5 million tons of food waste each year. If we composted that food, it would reduce the same amount of greenhouse gas as taking 2 million cars off the road.

 

 

Attention Ladies: The Girls Conference will be April 24, 2021 from 8:20am to 12:00. There will be workshops, guest speakers, girls conference t-shirts, raffle prizes (airpod pro), and other giveaways. It will be via zoom and students have until April 21st to register.
