NATIONAL YOUTH CONFIDENCE DAY!

Did you know: National Youth Confidence Day celebrates the energy, spirit and potential of young people. The day is an acknowledgment of all they will accomplish, respectively. Guidance, leadership and mentors will help light the path, indeed. In addition, today’s youth will navigate the obstacles that will inevitably lay before them.

 

Today in History: Congress investigates Communists in Hollywood
On October 20, 1947, the notorious Red Scare kicks into high gear in
Washington, as a Congressional committee begins investigating
Communist influence in one of the world’s richest and most glamorous
communities: Hollywood.

 

Semester 1 is going to end on October 23rd. Make sure to catch up if you are
behind and stay on track if you are passing.

 

Don't forget to stop by and see Mrs. Jackson and Sergio for lunch pick ups. You can
now come and see them Monday through Friday, from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm! Meals are
available to all children ages 2 to 18.
