NATIONAL NOODLE DAY!
Did you know: So many options present themselves on this food holiday. Pesto noodles, spaghetti with meatballs and buttered egg noodles come to mind. Every cuisine offers a noodle on their menu, too. The flavors abound! Invite friends to bring their favorite style of noodles to share. Have a tasting party and explore new flavors.
 
 
Today in History: Babe Ruth sets a World Series record On October 6, 1926, Yankee slugger Babe Ruth hits a record three homers against the St. Louis Cardinals in the fourth game of the World Series. The Yanks won the game 10-5, but despite Ruth’s unprecedented performance, they lost the championship in the seventh game.
 
 
Semester 1 is going to end on October 23, so you have less than four weeks to pass your classes. Make sure to catch up if you are behind and stay on track if you are passing.
 
 
Don't forget to stop by and see Mrs. Jackson and Sergio for lunch pick ups. You can now come and see them Monday through Friday, from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm! Meals are available to all children ages 2 to 18.
