National Custodian Day!

Did you know: Custodians are our first line of defense of the war on germs and often, it’s a thankless task. So, on National Custodian Day, we’d like to give a special shout out to Mr. Benavides for all of his hard work and dedication.  He makes sure we have a spotless and sanitary place to work and learn.

 

Today in History: Thurgood Marshall sworn in as first Black Supreme Court justice

Thurgood Marshall, the first Black justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. was chief counsel for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in the 1940s and ’50s, Marshall was the architect and executor of the legal strategy that ended the era of official racial segregation.

 

Semester 1 is going to end on October 23, so you have less than four weeks to pass your classes.  Make sure to catch up if you are behind and stay on track if you are passing.

 

Don't forget to stop by and see Mrs. Jackson and Sergio for lunch pick ups. You can now come and see them Monday through Friday, from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm! Meals are available to all children ages 2 to 18.
