February is Black History Month

Black History Fact:

Allensworth, California: Allensworth is the first all-black Californian township, founded and financed by African Americans. Created by Lieutenant Colonel Allen Allensworth in 1908, the town was built with the intention of establishing a self-sufficient city where African Americans could live their lives free of racial prejudice.

Join Nueva as we attend the Kern County Career Expo on Thursday, March 5 from 4:30 to 7:00pm.  Transportation and dinner will be provided. To all students graduating this year. If you would like to place an order for a cap & gown, please see Mrs. Gabion. All orders with payment will be picked up on April 17.  All orders made after this date will need to be made in Bakersfield.
