Eminent Scientist: George Washington Carver developed 300 derivative products from peanuts among them cheese, milk, coffee, flour, ink, dyes, plastics, wood stains, soap, linoleum, medicinal oils and cosmetics.

 

 
 
FAFSA NIGHT AT NUEVA Today, Thursday, February 6, we will host the last FAFSA night at Nueva.  If you are planning on graduating at the end of this school year, over the summer, or even in December, you and one of your parents need to attend.  See Mrs. Elias if you have questions.

Protect Yourself During Flu Season

   Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds; use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available.

   Avoid touching your nose, mouth, and eyes.

   Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, or cough and sneeze into your upper sleeve(s). Throw tissues into a wastebasket.

   Clean your hands after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.
