Zulma Guerra
Mission Statement:
I want to help students become life learners; I would like to instill in my students a sense of perseverance. Perseverance not only in a math class but in life.
I was born and raised in Mexico. I came to the United States when I was a junior in High School. I attended California State University at Bakersfield. I earned a Master’s degree in Education and Computer Technology from National University.
I married Juan Guerra in 1993, and I have two children.
I taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra at a middle school in Delano, California for 8 unforgettable years. Now, I have been teaching Consumer math, Foundations of Math, Algebra, and Yearbook to the remarkable students of Nueva High School since 2006!
