All you cooks out there, don’t forget to come get your entry form for the FLAVOR SHOWDOWN cooking contest put on by KHSD Nutrition Services! Think healthy and easy to prepare in a school kitchen. The Chicken and Rice dish we had earlier in the year was last years winners dish! Next time it could be YOU! 10 contestants will be chosen and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 winners.

Students: A Beginners Dance class will be offered in Q4. If you are interested see Ms. Cervantes.
Students: Would you like to share pictures of your summer vacation travels and have them featured in the yearbook? If you would like to participate see Mrs. Guerra or Ms. Lara.
Students: If you are interested in the Quest For Success work experience program please come to Mrs. Aguilar’s classroom 7 during break on Wednesday to get a pre-application to be considered for the program. You must have 100 credits, 80% attendance from August to present, 2.0 GPA, no serious or frequent discipline issues since August 2023.
Lunch: Asada Tacos, Sicilian Pizza, Cheeseburger, Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich, Spicy Chicken Sandwich.
