Did you know:National First Ladies Day commemorates the very first First Lady of the United States and all those who followed in her footsteps. It’s a day to recognize the role the first ladies have played in molding our nation.

 

 

Today‌ ‌in‌ ‌History:‌‌ Babe Ruth retires

 

On June 2, 1935, Babe Ruth, one of the greatest players in the history of baseball, ends his Major League playing career after 22 seasons, 10 World Series and 714 home runs.

Why is it called pride?

 

PRIDE is an acronym for Personal Rights in Defense and Education. The organization was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1966 by Steve Ginsburg.
