 National Ag Day !

 

Did you know:  Each year, National Ag Day recognizes and celebrates the abundance provided by agriculture across the United States.  American agriculture plays a critical economic and food security role in our country.

 

 

 

Today‌ ‌in‌ ‌History:‌‌ "OK" enters national vernacular

 

On March 23, 1839, the initials “O.K.” are first published in The Boston Morning Post. Meant as an abbreviation for “oll korrect,” a popular slang misspelling of “all correct” at the time, OK steadily made its way into the everyday speech of Americans.

 

 

 

Susan B. Anthony played a massive role in the women’s suffrage movement in 1878 when she and her friends presented an amendment to Congress that, if passed, would give women the right to vote.
